Terms of Service

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account and password
• All activities that occur under your account
• Keeping your encryption keys safe (we cannot recover them for you)
• Providing accurate information during registration

If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately.

You agree not to use Socii to:

• Harass, bully, or intimidate other users
• Share content that is illegal in your jurisdiction
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
• Attempt to access accounts that don't belong to you
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape or access the Service
• Share spam or commercial content without consent

While we cannot read your encrypted content, we reserve the right to terminate accounts that are reported for violating these terms.

You retain ownership of all content you create on Socii. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store your encrypted content and transmit it to your intended recipients.

Because your content is end-to-end encrypted, we have no ability to read, moderate, or backup your content in a recoverable form. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups if desired.

Your content is protected by end-to-end encryption. Your encryption keys are derived from your password and are never transmitted to our servers in usable form.

Important: If you lose your password, we cannot recover your content. There is no "forgot password" option that preserves your encrypted data. Please keep your password secure and backed up.

Socii offers both free and paid tiers. Paid subscriptions provide additional features like unlimited invites and group creation.

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually
• You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of your billing period
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis
• Lifetime purchases are one-time payments with permanent access

You can delete your account at any time from your settings page. We may also terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

Upon termination, your encrypted data will be permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days.

Socii is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do our best to maintain the Service, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that the Service will meet all your needs.

We are not responsible for content shared between users, as it is encrypted and we cannot access or moderate it.
